The second most important celebration occurs at your honeymoon destination. I know some brides that go through full shopping sprees just for their honeymoon. The idea of sun, beach, fun and endless cocktails are hard to stop thinking about. Who can resist the irresistible honeymoon apparels, accessories, and sandals created just for brides. Moreover, who doesn’t want to stroll down the beach with matching t-shirts identifying them as bride and groom? Well maybe the men wouldn’t appreciate it. Seriously do not forget to take a quick look at the many cool and trendy things you can buy for your honeymoon destination. There are products for every season, every climate and taste. My personal favorites are the beach bags with customized towels and flip flops. Not only are they unique in their own way, but they are actually very useful.
Honeymoon Package
Before going all crazy on shopping, here is a small advice. Do intensive research before choosing your honeymoon package. With so many choices from cruises to hotel packages, you need to view all of your options. Most importantly, do not limit your honeymoon package to your wedding season. If you get married in winter, give yourself the option of traveling in summer, or vice versa. Knowing where you are going well in advance can help organize your budget and time. Yes, however small or big your budget is you should consider many options. For example, for the same budget you can spend a big portion on air tickets traveling far, or you can travel somewhere near and spend your money at the desired location. Lastly, knowing your honeymoon destination could help you organize your wedding theme. Here is how...
Honeymoon Vacation
Your honeymoon vacation destination and your wedding go hand in hand. One cannot happen without the other. Some brides go to an extreme and include their honeymoon vacation destination in their wedding theme. For some it’s crazy, I personally welcome any creativity. I had a client once who wanted to project the Caribbean’s in her wedding. I must admit, I thought it would be a hard one, but boy did we have fun with all the colors. Instead of simple leaves we added banana and palm leaves, and included the oceans colors by using blue orchids. The chicken Creole that we served, as the main dish, was the highlight of the day. So do not hesitate to try any ideas, they might turn out to be pretty unique.
